Filmmakers worldwide descended on Hollywood to showcase their independent movies at the 2008 American Black Film Festival, August 7th-10th. Celebrating the 12th anniversary of ABFF, this international film festival provides artists with the opportunity to exhibit their shorts, narrative features and documentaries. It was a night to remember…. The dining room table was dressed in a red satin tablecloth. A crystal vase that held five birds of paradise and baby’s breath sat in he middle of the table. Vanilla scented candles sat on both sides of the vase, on two shiny chrome holders.
